Day 19

Still trying to do the sun salutations in the morning. This morning I didn't have time because we had to be at work early. I'm liking the mint tea at work instead of coffee. I've got to break down and have a cup of coffee now. The medication has made me really tired.

Breakfast: protien shake
Lunch: salad bar
Snack: dried apple, crackers/soy cream cheese and chives
Dinner: Roquet salad with truffle oil/Pasta with a tomato vegetable sauce

Really working on starting an alcohol fast. Working on some vegetarian Thanksgiving options. I've got a calcium/vitamin D supplement and am taking magnesium along with a multivitamin

Day 12

Success today! 5 sun salutations this morning

Breakfast:
soy yogurt and granola

Lunch:
Protein shake

Snack:
Mint tea

Dinner:
Croustini with Bruschetta
Grilled portobello mushroom salad with olive tapanade and sun dried tomatoes

I went to the gym tonight and boy do I feel good!

Remember to drink more water. No craving for wine today or yesterday. This was a big milestone because yesterday I had a really crap day. Look for trigger for craving.

Day 10

Well the battle with wine has been a tough one.

Thursday we shared two bottles of wine and I woke up feeling really crappy. Friday we split one bottle and Saturday we had a dinner party and between four of us we drank 4 bottles. Saturday morning I did my sun salutations, but felt dizzy.

All the other dietary restrictions I've been following well. Kev made a wonderful pasta dinner on Saturday which was completely vegan expect the eggs in the pasta.

Sunday
Breakfast: protein shake
Lunch: quinoa salad and vegetable soup
Dinner: ramen noodles and spinach salad

I broke down and had two beers which is a big no! NO!

I feel like I'm moving to a nice place. I've really focused on eating and by doing so eat less. Went to Shanti which is a great health food store. Found many vegan things. "I'm leaning into it" therefore had a couple glasses of wine. After a day on the go, it sounded really nice to relax.

Eating journal Day one

Today:

Piece of toast with butter/water
1/2 croissant, decaf coffee with sugar
water
lentil salad: carrots, onion, coriander, olive oil
Fruit soothie: pineapple, strawberry, apple, banana, soy milk, guarana
Vegetable soup/water

camomille tea and peacans

Felt good and ate little mostly because I was busy. Resisted putting honey in my tea and eating sugar cookies with it. Got a fruit soothie rather than coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up, but then learned that guarana is a form of caffeine. Oh well, I tried. Going to the health food store tomorrow. I feel quite good today.
